Away

“Away” was a four day performance as part of The Performance Arcade performance festival Counter Narratives. Each day of the performance, the artist, using materials pre-prepared and stockpiled in the container, built a raised walkway that begins inside the container and meanders outward. A new walkway was built everyday. It was assembled (and disassembled) only while standing on the previously built sections. Each walkway was unique. Made in random, changing, directions, each one was then dismantled and returned back to where it emerged at each day’s end.
